SONEX International is an International trading firm specialized in trading building and construction materials within the Caribbean Region, as well as trading materials from Europe, Asia and the America’s into the Caribbean region.
Established on June 13th, 1995, SONEX has grown from supplying in the beginning only to the Surinamese market to a regional trader in building materials, meanwhile specializing itself in supporting the building and construction sector throughout the Caribbean. Our strength is to connect the region with suppliers of high quality building material and arranging both logistic and financial services. Together with our trading and shipping partners we can supply a wide range of products.
The main commodities we are currently trading are:
- Cement in big bags (1,5 ton) & small bags (40 kg and 42.5 kg) for both general & industrial use
- Rebar in ASTM A615, grade 60 as well as Rebar B500B
- Structural steel, varying from H & I beams, UNP-channels, Angle steel, Flat bar, Plates to Square and Round tubes both black and galvanized, as well as a range of other steel products.
- Aggregates: Sand and crushed stone for construction purposes.
- Concrete products: pavers, blocks, pre-stressed piles, as well as many other products.
- Heavy Equipment: Trucks, Concrete Mixers, Excavators, Cranes and other types of heavy equipment, new as well as used.
